On Monday, September 8th we had a crazy rain here in the valley of the sun. We normally do not get as much rain as we did this day. Weather reporters are calling it “The 100 year rain”. It was so bad that there was no way for more than half of our students to get to school. Some schools were closed in the surrounding areas. We still had school as normal, but there were only 7 of us that showed up for class. We did some math games, read with a buddy, danced, and played games with other second grade classes. It was an interesting day! We even took a little walk out towards the end of the day to take some pictures of the lake that formed on our playground! Here are some pictures of what we did on this crazy day.
