Showing Numbers in Expanded Form!

We did an activity where we broke apart numbers to 1,000 to show what they would be in standard or expanded form. Everyone in the class had a number in the ones, tens, or hundreds. When a number was called they had to recognize it was them that was needed to make the number and work together to build it in standard form and then show what it would be in expanded form.

  1. My son talks a lot about expanded form. He practices it at home whenever he gets the chance. Good to see him in class room working hard love it!
