Welcome to our blog!
We are two 6th grade classes who are eager to learn about the world around us. Our goal this year is to build global relationships through collaboration.
Our school, Desert Vista Elementary School, is located near the base of the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona.
I am Mrs. Woronec and I teach 6th grade ELA at Desert Vista Elementary School in the Apache Junction Unified School District. I was born and raised in Manistee, MI. I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education fromWestern Michigan University. I moved to Arizona in 2007 to begin my career in education. I received my Masters in Education Media Design & Technology from Full Sail University. I enjoy seeking out new ways to enhance my teaching skills and advance the quality of education at my school. I love being a teacher and a lifelong learner too!
Our blog is an online journal of what we are learning in class. It’s also a place for students to express themselves and share what they have created.
Our blog will help us to communicate and connect with other students around the world.
