I am Mrs. Woronec and I teach 6th grade ELA at Desert Vista Elementary School in the Apache Junction Unified School District.  I was born and raised in Manistee, MI.  I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education fromWestern Michigan University.  I moved to Arizona in 2007 to begin my career in education.  I received my Masters in Education Media Design & Technology from Full Sail University. I enjoy seeking out new ways to enhance my teaching skills and advance the quality of education at my school.  I love being a teacher and a lifelong learner too!

Our Blog

Our blog is an online journal of what we are learning in class. It’s also a place for students to express themselves and share what they have created.

Our blog will help us to communicate and connect with other students around the world.

Hello! My name is Stephanie. I am a sixth grader in Mr. Millers class. I think your blog is great! Do you think your students will still live in the town they are living in right now when they are older? Do you think your school is a really good school? Do you think your state is a wonderful state? Do you think your students will want to be a teacher when they grow up? Do you think your town is a wonderful town?

    Hi,

I really like your blog! I teach 5th grade in WI. I’ve added your blog to my blogroll and plan on showing some of what you’ve posted to my class on our Smartboard. (We’re talking about inference too!) I will encourage my students to visit and leave comments. Please check out our blog as well.
