Cyber Safety Ideas from Kindergarten Students in Arizona

Today we watched a video about Hector the dolphin and his sea animal friends.  We learned that you should NOT put your entire name on the internet.  You should not put your address, your birthday or your phone number out there either.  A bad person could get this information about you.  The bad person could use this information to harm you.

It would be better to use a nickname or an abbreviated version of your name when using the internet.

The sea animals learned that it was a bad idea to go on the internet.  The sea animals taught us that  a better way to use the internet would be to:

use a nickname, never use your real name

phone number

home address or your email address

Can you think of other ways to be safe on the internet?

What do you do to be safe on the internet?
