Today I am teaching you about rocks. Rocks are an important part of our environment.
There are three different types of rocks. They are called Igneous rocks, Sedimentary rocks, and Metamorphic rocks.
Types of Igneous rocks are Obsidian and Granite. Types of Sedimentary rocks are Sandstone, and Limestone.
Types of Metamorphic rocks are Gneiss, and Marble. Igneous rocks are formed because of the temperature that is going onto the rock.
Sedimentary rocks are formed by water pressure. Metamorphic rocks are formed by both temperature and pressure.

A pebble is like sand but it could come in any size. They are usually flat and round ( or oval shaped ).
If you like to camp or hike then you should use something called flint. You rub it on something like steel and it will make a spark for a fire.
Flint comes in really handy like other rocks. There is a marble rock and it is really cool. If you have a strong magnet and roll it in the sandy areas of the dessert you can get some.
