Mrs. Bliss' Dragon's Den

10 Links to Students Around the World, Student Blogging Challenge, Week 7

Hi,
In this post you will see a lot of links from  other students blogs around the world. If you are wondering how to write a quality comment some blogs that are useful are listed below. Check out these blogs to educate yourself on Quality Comments.

  1. http://yollisclassblog.blogspot.com/
  2. http://blogs.goaj.org/kabliss/
  3. http://blogs.goaj.org/martinezroom201/

These Class blogs are really interesting to look at and explore. They all will show you how to use Quality Commenting. These blogs are very time-consuming. All of these blogs have been around for at least two years with experience. Mrs. Martinezs’ class blog is one of our favorite blogs because last year we were each in her class for at least a month. We especially like Mrs. Bliss’ Blog because we are in her class.

Not many blogs have widgets, but most people like the blogs that do. Listed below are some blogs with widgets.

  1. http://blogs.goaj.org/gamekid/
  2. http://blogs.goaj.org/jgoucher/
  3. http://mrdevil.edublogs.org/

Some of these widgets, are Voki, ClustrMaps, and a lot of other interesting widgets. We wanted to get ems canvas but the link wouldn’t let us visit the blog, but these blogs still have really good examples of widgets. Most only have ClustrMaps but they’re still examples of widgets. The ClustrMap will show you how many people that have visited and where in the world that person has visited from. Voki is a website where you can create a virtual person, animals, robots, and politics. You can make your Voki talk to whoever plays the Voki.

Many class blogs have gotten awards. Again one of them is Ems’ Canvas, but again, we can’t get on to her blog. Below are the blogs with awards links.

  2. http://jarrodsblog.global2.vic.edu.au/
  3. http://learninghub3.blogspot.com/

Mr. Avery’s class has 4 awards. The awards they earned were they were nominated the best class blog of 2011, finalist for the best use of audio/video/podcast of 2011, was nominated best educational wiki, and was in the top 50 Elementary teacher blog. They were well earned too. They have one of the most interesting blogs we have seen. We want to thank you for reading this post. We hope you will visit these blogs. Shoutout to all the blogs that aren’t in this post.
