Kids can make a difference! The students in our class know that first hand. They have worked all year to help others who are less fortunate than they are. We are currently involved in collecting aluminum cans to raise money for our friends at Bensesa School in Nairobi, Kenya.
As the cans are brought in, we crush them. Many of the teachers and other students at our school help us with this. They know how good it feels when we help others. This is a great way to care for our earth. Recycling the cans allows us to demonstrate caring for the globe as we care for friends across the globe.
What are some ways you help people in your community or in other countries?
Would you like to collect cans for us? If you live near, let us know and we will gladly accept them.
