On October 31st, I go trick or treating. I get dressed up in a costume. I get a lot of candy and I go with friends.

Before Halloween we carve pumpkins, my pumpkin was supposedly to be a Minecraft pumpkin, and we prepare our costumes. I was a Creeper, a Creeper is a monster in a video game called Minecraft. We sometimes buy our costumes, but this year I made mine. I used the computer to make my face. We bought me green clothes and green make up for my costume.

On Halloween we go around my neighborhood. We go to every house that has a light on the outside of it. At the houses we get candy. My friends and I get a lot of candy at the end of it.

After we are done trick or treating we go to a friend’s house and we get to have snacks. If we don’t get invited we go to my house and have some candy there.

I hope you have learned what I get to do on Halloween night. It is very fun on Halloween. That’s what I do on October 31st.

What do you do for Halloween?

For the Student Blogging Challenge #5, I made a slideshow using SlideShare about the Sonoran Desert because this is where I live.

All of my photos came from Flickr, and they all have Creative Commons Licenses.

I think the lizard with the striped belly is the western zebra tailed lizard.

What animal did you the best?

What questions about the Sonoran Desert do you have?

For Student Blogging Challenge #4, I added Jaden’s blog and Mrs. Yollis’ blog to my blogroll, and I made comments on a few of my friend’s blogs:

I’m excited about making blogging friends. Mrs. Yollis even put my blog on her blogroll.
Did you know about the question on Mr. Davo Devil’s Blog about USA, Canada, and Australia?
Have you gotten a good conversation with someone?

If I could visit anywhere in the world, I’d want to visit China and Japan. My dad is Chinese and Japanese, and his parents are Japanese. I’m fourth generation Japanese-American.  Where would you want to travel?

Blogs I recommend

September 18, 2011 by Tracy Watanabe · 7 Comments · Student Blogging Challenge

I visited some blogs and left comments. Here are some blogs I recommend:

  • Jarrod’s Awesome Blog He’s been blogging for a while and makes great posts. I commented on his Poptropica post. He wrote back and answered my questions. I want to try out his suggestions on Poptropica.
  • Joshr4’s blog is cool. I really like the werewolf voki on the side. His accent is different than mine. I commented on his bullying post. It’s an important post.
  • Daniel’s Awesome Blog He came to my blog and left me some really good comments, and I’ve been to his blog too. I like some of the same things he likes.
  • Em’s Canvas She likes to create a lot and put it on her blog.
  • Sam’s Blog I went to Sam’s blog and left him a comment.

Who do you recommend I visit next?
