My passions student blogging challenge #2

September 26, 2012 by Ethan · 4 Comments · Books, Games, Student Blogging Challenge

My passions are: reading books, doing puzzles, and playing board games.

This is how far I am now.

My first passion is reading books, it is my best passion. What I like about reading books so much is that I get to sometimes learn something. Also what I like so much about reading books is that I get sucked into the book.

My second passion that I love doing the most is doing puzzles. What I like about doing puzzles is that I have to find out where every piece goes. Right now I am doing a 1000 piece puzzle. It is so fun because I have to find out where a lot of people go.

This is what it will look like.

My third passion is playing board games. What makes this my third passion is that I get to be able to be with family and friends while I’m playing a game.

What are your three favorite passions and why?

This is the second student blogging challenge.

On October 1 I finished the puzzle. I lost one of the puzzle pieces, so now I have only 999 pieces of the puzzle.

    Dear Ethan,

What a terrific post about your passions! You are becoming a terrific writer! You have a topic sentence, great main ideas, and best of all…you have fabulous supporting details! Well done, Ethan!

I have many things that I am passionate about.

One passions is spending time with my husband. We got a new puppy named Buck, and Mr. Yollis and I love spending time with him in our backyard. Buck is very good at catching a bouncing ball and he loves to have pool parties in his little plastic pool!

Teaching elementary school is another passion of mine. I thoroughly enjoy helping children reach their full potential. Blogging has been a great way to help kids learn about reading, writing, and geography.

Finally, I am passionate about yoga. I’ve been practicing it for a few years, and I love learning new aspects about it. Last year, I decided to learn how to do a handstand. I practiced and practiced and can now do one!

What do you do with puzzles once you complete them?

    Your friend,
    Mrs. Y♥llis

      Hello Mrs. Yollis,

Thank you for the compliment about my post. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on my blog. When I’m done with the puzzles that takes a long time to finish, I leave as it is for a long time.

      From,
      Ethan

I have been looking at Mrs. Yollis’s blog page and the video how to comment. I have set my local primary school on the blogging road but they are starting to get a little disillusioned by the lack of comments, from even their own peers. You have written about your passions and done so in such an eloquent way, my hope was that you could share your passion with those blogging at my local school. Through your experience of blogging and commenting along with Mrs. Yollis and the rest of her students I am sure you would be able to help enthuse and ignite our bloggers and commenters at deafhill.primaryblogger.co.uk
    Thank you
