Best Librarian’s Blog: Bulldog Readers Blog

I love Pete the Cat, and so does Mrs. Hembree. She shares about Pete the Cat a lot on her blog. She always has great books, that’s why I love her blog.

Best Ed Tech / Resource Sharing Blog:

I love Ms. Terrell’s blog because she always gives my mom good ideas for apps I’d like. They always end up being my favorites.

Lifetime Achievement: Miss W

Miss W gives really good comments on my blog. My mom says she does that to lots of good blogs all over the world. She does so much. She should get this award.
Best New Blog: Blogging Bobcats

I went to their blog because it was talking about the earth, and I like to help the earth. I love how Mrs. Fraher writes back to me in the comments.

I love Mrs. Fraher’s blog. She writes about things that I am interested in. For example, in her last post she wrote about scorpions. Sometimes my brother and I go out at night with a black light to find scorpions. Here’s one hiding in the rocks:

Best Student Blog: Thinking About

I go to this blog a lot. I love it because Ethan writes about the things I like too. I like taking polls and he has a lot of polls on his blog.

Best Administrator’s Blog: This and That

My mom likes this blog, and I see her read it. I like it because I like Mr. Castelhano, and I like the pictures, especially the one of the apple.

Best Mobile App: PBS Kids

This is my favorite app because it has lots of different videos, songs, and fun things for me to do. I learn too!

Best Educational Use of a Social Network:

I love the Student Blogging Challenge. Even though I don’t write that many posts during the challenge, it’s because I am still learning to read and write. I love the challenge because it gives me ideas, and it lets me make new blogging friends.
Miss W & me. Miss W writes the Student Challenges.
Now you know my favorites. Who are your favorites?
>Tarantulas, Eights, and Student Challenge #5
Posted on October 7, 2012 at 9:35 pm by and

For the Student Blogging Challenge #5, I am writing about math in the real world. I am writing about the number eight.

I made this on Pages with my mommy’s help.
What else comes in eights?
Do you have eight fun facts to share about tarantulas or anything else?
>Ants Lift and March
Posted on September 30, 2012 at 3:11 pm by and

I am learning about ants at school. I learned that they walk and walk, dig and dig, and lift and lift. They work together as a team. They also can bite people, so look out for ants!

My mom found this fun and interactive site about ants.

Here’s a video from National Geographic about ants. I liked this one.

What can ants do?
Where do they live?
What do you know about ants?
I wrote this post for the Student Blogging Challenge #4.
>Stick Bugs

Today I saw a stick bug at church. It was walking and was alive. I saw it two times. Mom took a picture and a video of it. Then I saw the kids hold it in their hands. It was on the tree and jumped to Keeton’s hands, and then went back to the tree and crawled up.

What are your favorite bugs?
