For those of you who haven’t read “Holes”, it’s a really good book! After I finished I was hooked on the book! A week later I was in the library and I found a book by the same author, Louis Sachar. This new book was called “Small Steps”. I started reading and I realized it featured two of the same characters. Even another girl saw I was reading it and got the same book, and she already loves it. I can’t give much away since I’m not that far into the book. It features the characters Armpit and X-ray with a whole new adventure.

I absolutely love the book, well so far. My favorite part that you read to us so far was, “I hope he doesn’t look up my shorts!”

I love the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. I love the combination of real life and Greek mythology. The characters are so funny and witty and you grow really attached to them. The plot lines are really thought out and interesting. This is the series that got me really into reading and I cannot wait for the House of Hades to come out on October 8th. I saw the movie, Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters, not too long ago and to be honest I was really disappointed. I thought they changed too much and added a lot of stuff that wasn’t in the book. I hope they do a better book to movie adaptation of the next one.

I would recommend the book Dog Days. I would recommend this book because it is very funny. It is by Jeff Kinney. I would recommend all of his books.

I just recently finished the book Holes. It was a great book. I like how it went through three different stories at once. The book went into great detail. Camp Green Lake was definitely a very dry place. I wouldn’t be surprised if they made a second book to explain what happened to the two characters that were released from the facility because in the end they both had just under a million dollars. It is by far one of the best books I have ever read.
