Tonight in our iPad class, I was asked what’s the best way to send photos from the iPads to the teacher. While there are several options (e.g. Set up Drop Box), I decided that setting up a class email account would be best.
You do not want to use your personal or school email because students would be able to read your emails (which could be illegal — FERPA). But, setting up a class email account for the purpose of sharing with the teacher would be appropriate.
You’ll need to go to Google and create a new Gmail account. Note: If you are logged into Google Apps, I recommend opening a different browser to do this, or log out of Google Apps.
