Newtons 3 Laws of Motion

We have recently learned Newtons three laws of motion! The Lockwood Crew has been discovering how the laws of motion are used in our everyday lives. How can Newtons Laws effect you in your life?

For Newtons 1st Law of Motion an example would be if I got in a car crash the car would stop but the people in side would keep moving, if it wasn’t for seat belts. If I pushed a couch it probably wouldn’t go far, but if a pushed a toy truck with the same amount of force it would go much farther. F= Mass x Acceleration. That would be the Second law. In the 3rd law if you blew a balloon up but didn’t tie it and then let it go the air would go one way and the balloon would go the other.

  2.   Brenda E. Says:

One of the three laws of motion an object at rest stays at rest an object at motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force thats the first newtons law of motion like if a object is in motion and your in a car driving and u slam on your breaks your gonna fly forward and if u dont have your seat belt on then you may fly through the windshield

  3.   Brooke Says:

A law of motion that could effect on me is law #3.Law #3 is “For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction.”A case of scenario would be (and it actually happened to me)if you go on a boat and you step up the boat goes back.Another case of scenario would be blowing up a balloon then not tying it then letting it go.

  4.   Emily Says:

One of the 3 laws of motion are an object at motion stays in motion an object at rest stays at rest unless an unbalanced force acts upon it.If you are going for a vacation and u have stuff on top of your car they will fall but not you unless you are wearing a seat belt.If you are not wearing a seat belt you will fall out the front window.

It would effect my life cause I know the three law of motions. If I get in to a car crash and i have things tied down to the top of the car that they would fly very far off the top of the car.It would go about two miles or six miles long i think or it would go fare there.
The second law of motion formula is F=M X A

We have recently been learning about Newtons 3 Laws of Motion. Why are called Newtons 3 Laws of Motion because Issac Newton discovered gravity and he made up Newtons 3 Laws of Motion. How do they affect you in your life?Well, first you have to know what they are.1.An object in motion will stay in motion and an object at rest will stay at rest unless an unbalanced force acts upon it. 2.Formula=Acceleration x Mass.3.For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action.

  7.   Jaden Says:

If you are going to go skiing you might want to strap your skis on tight if your putting them on your roof. If you don’t why,it is because it is from Newtons three laws of motion. And if you don’t strap the skis on tight they will fly forward when you slam on the brakes. That shows Newton’s first law of motion. Newton’s second law is force equals mass times acceleration. Newton’s third law is for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. That is Newton’s three laws of motion.

  8.   Benjamin Says:

It teach us about motion so we know what happens. It also teach us of how to be safe, help us don’t get hurt, and prevent it.Here’s Newton’s first law an object in motion stays in motion and an object at rest stays at rest unless an unbalanced force acts upon it.Newtons second law Acceleration is produced when a force acts on a mass. the greater the mass (of the object being accelerate the object).Newtons third law: is often simply stated as, “for every action there is an equal and opposite re-action.”

  9.   dakota Says:

first law of motion an obeject that has unbalenced forced second law of motion is states pat or rest acceleration is produced when a force acts on the mass f ma for every action there is an equal and opposite re action the third law of motion an every action there is an opposite re action

  10.   mariah Says:

Newtons first lay realizes like a car crash because an object at motion stays at motion witch is the first car and the object stays at rest but unless an unbalanced force acts upon it and that’s the other car and lay 2 Mass x Acceleratio=Force

  11.   Brody B. Says:

If your going camping you should strap everything down because it will fly off if you slam on the brakes. When a car is driving everything inside is moving as fast as the car. Without Newtons three laws of motion we wouldn’t be able to measure how fast we are going in cars,on feet,or anything else that involves movement.

  12.   marcus Says:

These 3 laws of motion are true like Newtons first law of motion(an object at motion stays at motion an object at rest stays at rest unless an unbalanced force acts upon it)it is true i stop my bike with my foot and went forward. It is true this can make your life easier by it stopping you.
