Animals Gone Wild!

Student Blogging Challenge #7 – Sciences

Wow! It’s been a while since anything has been posted. But don’t let the inactivity on the blog indicate what we’ve been doing in the classroom!

The last month our 7th grade classes have been working hard on creating 3D models to accompany a slideshow presentation of animals that they have researched. Part of our 7th grade science curriculum focuses on learning about the relationships among various organisms and their environment. So students researched the food webs and food chains of an animal of their choice as well as its niche, any limiting factors it may have, as well as how environmental factors affect survival rates.

Take a look below at the short video of some of Mrs. Ligon’s students’ outstanding 3D models.
